Guided tour of the historic center of the town; Otranto is the gateway to the the oriental world, here you can discover the wonderful mosaic flooring of the cathedral (XI century) and the story of the martyrs of Otranto (1480).

Itinerary: the Terra gate, the Alfonsina tower, the Cathedral (containing the above mentioned mosaic flooring, a chapel that contains the bones of the martyrs and an amazing crypt), the Aragonese Castle and its bulwarks and the small St. Peter basilica.

The Zinzulusa Grotto is nestled in a breathtaking part on the rocky coast facing the Adriatic sea (between Castro and St. Cesarea).

The grotto takes its name from the many stalactites you find inside looking as hanging rags whose name in dialect is “zinzuli”.

The itinerary is 150 meters long.
